Battlefield Acupuncture

Posted by H. Frank Neely L.Ac. on December 29, 2010 at 1:00 PM

I recently was certified in Battlefield Acupuncture. It is amethod of acupuncture that immediately reduces or eliminates pain up to 80%. It is fast and effective and usually only takes about five minutes to provide immediate relief.

Battlefield Acupuncture was createdin 2001 by United States Air Force Colonel Dr. Richard Niemtzow the only full-time active duty acupuncturist in the military. This method was originally intended to be used to eliminate a soldier’s pain on the battlefield.

Battlefield Acupuncture is currently being used in the military at Walter Reed, Landstuhl Regional MedicalCenter in Germany, Andrews Air Force Base and in the field in Afghanistan and Iraq. Its benefits are quick administration and rapid relief of pain without the common side effects or complications associated with medications.

Battlefield Acupuncture has evolved from its original idea of being used on the battlefield to being used to help chronic pain conditions and phantom limb pain.

Within minutes of insertion of the Acupuncture needles into the ear patients, pain is immediately reducedup to 80%. This is al done with no side effects or complications and minimal discomfort.

I have recently used Battlefield Acupuncture to treat saveer low back pain, tendonitis, knee pain and elbow Pain. With all treatments the pain was totaly eliminated.

So if your suffering from chronic pain or an injury that just wont go away or if you are an athlete who needs pain relief for performance, come in and try Battlefield Acupuncture.
